Episode 62: Shannon and Steve Johnson are the
creators of Foggy Rock; a social
networking site all about autism. If you are familiar with Facebook or
MySpace then you can imagine what they have done here. Foggy Rock is a
fantastic way for people to communicate and share information about autism
in a user-friendly and dynamic medium.
Episode 61:
I talk with Michael Goldberg, author of the Autism
Bulletin, a blog about many current and newsworthy events affecting the
autism community. We cover a range of topics from insurance to his map
that helps identify schools with individuals for autism. Michael also
has a son with autism and I always enjoy having conversations with other
fathers.
Episode 60 (part Two): I finish my discussion of
the SCERTS model with Dr. Barry Prizant.

Episode 60 (part one):
I talk with Dr. Barry Prizant a collaborator on the SCERTS model; an
all encompassing program for working with individuals on the autism
spectrum.
Barry is
an Adjunct Professor in the Center for the Study of Human Development, Brown
University, and the Director of Childhood Communication Services, a private
practice in Cranston, RI. He is a 2005 recipient of the Princeton
University-Eden Foundation Award for career contributions for "Improving the
Quality of Life for Individuals with Autism".
